Girl from the Other Side OVA Will Play At Japan's Online Film Festival 2020-2021

If you've been looking for a chance to watch The Girl from the Other Side's OVA, you're in luck. It's playing at Japan’s Online Film Festival (JFF) 2020-2021.

Now, in case you're not too familiar with the series, The Girl from the Other Side's OVA is a short adaptation of Nagabe's manga by the same name. The story follows the unlikely bond a beast and a human girl who both can't quite find a place to belong.

Thanks to I.G. Production, The OVA retains every bit of the manga's charm, and despite the lack of dialogue, the animation is so expressive that it doesn't need it.

It's hauntingly beautiful, and honestly a wonderful way to spend 10 minutes. I can't recommend seeing it enough.

For the US, you can watch the OVA on 12/11/20. However, since the film schedules vary per country, make sure to check JFF's official site to see if it's available in your country and when it might play in yours.
